I live in huntington sta. ny and I would like to know why are there so many sex offenders living in this part?

I recieve from school information everytime one of this person is let loose in town and in my opinion there are to much fo them . And why the photos that they send about this sex offenders are so dark that you cant see them.

I would bet that it's the same all over. I know my kids bring home warning slips about sexual predators once or twice a year. If you go online and view the Sheriff's site, they always have 50 or so. Part of the problem is with our society, but a good deal of them were just swept under the rug 25 years ago or so.

If you want to look at better pictures, I'm sure there is a site in NY that has pictures available for viewing, contact your local cop shop and ask.
